hold an art fair to celebrate Sultan's NEXT 100 years, with awards for
the best submission in several different categories (original art, photograph,

could donate to help his 4 children (with another on the way)

Storm: Comments related to the Council's action on Wild Sky, its "arbitrary"
and "capricious" decision, and Dusty Boucher's comments, in
particular.

Pearson: Offers congratulations to the Sultan Council for their wise
Wild Sky resolution and lets loose with both barrels at what he considers
to be a stupid concept.

from most council members to Bill Pearson for his comments supporting
their anti-Wild Sky Resolution.

Flower waxes eloquent on Mr. Pearson's sage advice, and lets loose
both barrels at Loretta Storm for her "negativity" and urges
her to volunteer more of her time to the city in positive pursuits (see
transcription,
above).

Mortage's (Ron Wiediger) intent to donate $100 to the skateboard park
for each mortgage their write until Shindig, states the goal is to raise
$100,000 for park; Received a letter from a citizen congratulating the
SPD on their proactive efforts; and anupdate on the transient issue,
Snohoco using helicopters to photographically capture activity.

Works Director Connie Dunn gives Public Works Report: 4/23,
8 a.m to 4 PM is Sultan Clean-up day; the first layer of First Street
paving will finally be done on Tuesday, 4/19 (weather permitting); progress
on SBR intersection continues; bids for 5th Street traffic signal imporvements
will advertise in May; Osprey Park ballfields closed for maintenance.

recently, as told by Barbara Schmidt), other safety problems explained,
as well as confirmation of cougar sightings; discussion of various solutions,
which may be to share resources with Monroe.

Commmissioner Ray George: Agreed that Animal control is needed (amusing
tongue-in-cheek suggestion that they could be used to round up
stray animals); and criticized Derek Boyd's vote against Denali Ridge
Plat because of his concerns with that plat's inclusion of a city code
which is currently in the midst of legal mediation.

Commissioner Josie Fallgatter re draft sewer plan; saying the plan could
be skipped because that plan has already been adopted thorugh inclusion
and reference in Sultan's Comp plan.
