PUBLIC
COMMENTS
Jean Roberts,
Sue Shawger and Loretta Storm all support continuance of the Planning
Commission; Storm requests strong public advocation and "promotion"
of new members to the PC by the Mayor, Council and other city officials.
In response to the mayor's comment that he feels someone being pro-slow-growth
is just as inappropriate as someone on the Commission who is pro-fast
growth, Storm stated there is a big difference between someone who champions
a pro-law, long-term quality of life approach to planning for the city's
future and those whose only motivation for serving is enhancing their
wallets. Josie Fallgatter commended the council for creating a surface
water management/stormwater utility. (File
