Water System Plan Hearing


The public hearing on the Water System Plan called to order in the Sultan Community Center by Mayor Tolson. Councilmembers present: Champeaux, Wiediger, Slawson, Flower, Blair and Boyd.

There were no objections to the Council participation.

Staff Report:

Connie Dunn, Public Works Director, John Wilson BHC, provided a brief overview of Amendment #1 to the Water System Plan. The potential lots developed in 2005 were greater then the original plan and the amendment takes into account new ERU's. The Department of Health has commented on the plan and requested more information on the water monitoring plan. The Coordinated Water System plan sets boundaries for the service area and provides for Interlocal agreements for areas where PUD does not have water lines.
