  • Specific staffing level is set by the city according to priorities and available resources (budget)
  • Uniforms, vehicles, etc., can be customized to fit City's needs/desires (Sgt. Bachand)
  • Pre-existing agency identity retained with the state/federal government

  • City and county pool resources to provide services to the city and a designated surrounding unincorporated area
