Explanation/Description of Sultan's Growth Alternative Scenarios: "No" Growth: Basically retains growth policies, strategies and goals from our 1994 Comp Plan, keeping current UGA boundaries. (See map). Low Growth: Greater build-out densities, as well as expansion of Sultan's UGA boundary to include the following (approximate) properties: All city-owned land east of the City's 124th St. Water Treatment Plant; three parcels directly east of Sultan's water treatment plant; Reese Park; several residential parcels west of Sultan Basin Road north of 132nd; and parcels from Sultan's easternmost UGA boundary, east to Rice Road to "square off" current easternmost UGA boundaries. See map for precise boundaries. (see map) Moderate Growth: Greater build-out densities. UGA would be expanded to include approximately all properties as described in the Low Growth scenario, but would also expand UGA boudary north to 124th St. SE and eastward to include land from the UGA boundary east of Rice Road, northward to 132nd St. and west to the Wallace River. (See map) High Growth: Would include all land as described in the Moderate Growth scenario, but would also extend Sultan's UGA northward to 116th St. SE and include a panhandle of land west of town. (See map)
