- Recent - The 1/12 council meeting: Because of a less-than-full council, the quorum present (Derek Boyd, Jim Flower, Rob Criswell and Bruce Champeaux {John Seehuus arrived an hour late]), the vote to choose a council replacement for Jeff Everett's seat was delayed until a full council can be present. Offered an opportunity to do so, several candidates spoke on their behalf: George Schmidt, C. H. Rowe, Wayne Steele and Margaret Skogland. Bart Dalmasso was present, but did not speak. Absent was Kristina Blair. Council Candidate Applications (to be decided at the Jan. 12 council meeting): Kristina Blair, Bart Dalmasso, C. H. Rowe, George Schmidt, Margaret Skogland and Wayne Steele. 1/12 Council Agenda Packet (in Word, Acrobat (Note: Meeting begins at 6:00 PM for an executive session to discuss the council candidates. Every voter in Sultan should show up to voice their objection to this practice, despite the statutes that allow a council to meet behind closed doors to discuss "the qualifications" of a council candidate. I wholeheartedly condemn this action.
