The City of Sultan is encouraging applications to fill the vacant Position 6 Seat on the Sultan City Council. The appointment to this position will serve the remainder of the term for this Position that ends on December 31, 2005. Applicants for this Position must be of voting age and reside within City Limits of Sultan.

Interested persons are requested to submit a resume’ and letter of interest or a completed City Application by 5:00 p.m., January 6, 2005 to the Office of City Administrator, P.O. Box 1199, 319 Main Street, Suite 200, Sultan WA 98294.

The City Council will evaluate Applications in executive session at their January 12, 2005 Meeting. Thereafter, the City Council may nominate Applicants to fill the Position. The Applicant who receives a majority of the vote shall take the Council seat at the next Meeting, provided he/she has taken the Oath of Office.
