EDITORIAL:

Justice Served Cold: Delayed to Death

Unlike our legal system, this editorial will be short and sweet.

March 21, 2001 Porter and Rowe filed an appeal to Judge Cowsert's decisions on their recall actions. Now, instead of the voters having an opportunity to decide -- which is the purpose of the recall, after all -- Mayor Rowe and Councilman Porter will continue their hold over Sultan by attempting to sidestep their inevitable removal from office by delaying this action to death.

Mssrs. Rowe and Porter: If you have done nothing wrong, what do you have to fear from the voters of Sultan? We have been listening to what you have been saying on this subject. Now let the people of Sultan speak.

What new and ongoing mischief will occur while we wait for justice, I wonder?
