| G.R.I.T.: A note about any perceived "mandate" from the last election: Raney, Everett, Kraut and Sumpter received a combined total of 2024 votes. Boucher, Champeaux, and Koehler received a combined total of 1572 (if you remove Hanna). If one were to draw a conclusion about a "mandate" it appears it would have to reside with those who normally opt for wise growth and more specificity in code creation and enforcement. (This assumption excludes Walter Hanna, who was at the time of the election, and remains still, an "X" Factor.) The Broughton-Criswell race was not "won" by Criswell; all he "won" was a coin toss. | ||||
