In the event of a flood or dam break, the following are Sultan's evacuation routes: 1. From the intersection of Davis Rd. & Trout Farm Rd. to the end of Trout Farm Rd.: All residents should go up to the end of 307th S.E. and walk up the hill. 2. From First St. to 4th St. & Davis Rd. - to SR 2: Get on SR 2 and head east to the Sultan Basin Road or Rice Road. 3. From 4th St. to 8th St. and from High Ave. to SR 2: Either get on SR 2 and head east, or walk to the corner of 8th & High St. (SE corner of high school property), and walk up the trail to Loves Hill. Shelters and First Aid stations will be provided at all of these locations. NOTE: ALL SCHOOL CHILDREN WILL BE EVACUATED UP LOVES HILL - PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE IN THIS IMEMDIATE AREA. 4. All areas eats of 8th St. and SR 2: Get on SR 2 and go east to safety. 5. SR 2 and 5th St. South (including Skyview Drive, 311th Avenue S.E., Voss Road, Mann Road and the Ben Howard Road Residents): South to the hills and drive into them as far as you can go. The major force of the water is going to hit this area the hardest. The farther up in the hills you can go, the better. 6. Residents west of the Sultan River Bridge: Head west to the Red Apple and go north to the Reiner Road shelters. Doctors and EMT's will be available there. |
