Mr. Beaver attends most of the Gold Bar council meetings. He began his reporting in the Summer of 2006. We hope he (or others) continue this effort to inform the good and well-meaning citizens of Gold Bar.
G.R.I.T.'S EDITORIAL NOTE: Since early 2006 -- when Councilman Robert Amenn gained a council majority because of the election of fellow council members and like-minded Dorothy Croshaw and Jerry Wood -- the citizens of Gold Bar have been burdened with heavy-handed tactics. Chief among these tactics have been several "Special" council meetings called for odd hours and days (often without 24 hours notice to fellow council members) for business that could -- and should -- be more appropriately and efficiently dealt with at regular council meetings.
