The Gold Bar City Council is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy left by the recent resignation of Council Member Debra Hunt.

Interested candidates should be a resident of the City of Gold Bar for a minimum of one year, a registered Gold Bar voter and possess a willingness and availability to participate in a minimum of two council meetings per month on the first and third Tuesday at 7:00 PM with the possibility of additional workshops and training sessions as determined by council, and have an interest in the betterment of the community and the development of the policies and laws by which it is governed.

Interested candidates must submit a letter of interest detailing the reasons why the applicant is appropriate for appointment to council along with a resume of relevant work and/or volunteer experience. Letters and resumes should be directed to:

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, December 2, 2004, 5:00 PM.

All applicants will be interviewed by the City Council at the Regular Meeting of the Council on December 7, 2004 at 7:00 PM in City Hall Council Chambers. Applicants will be provided with the interview questions prior to the Council Meeting.
