Walkway Improvements & Maintenance in Gold Bar

The section of US 2 between 13th and 17th streets is used as a primary walkway between the eastern side of Gold Bar and the City.  It has a less-than-adequate width; plus it has not been maintained as needed.  Blackberries are now encroaching into the already-small walkway area, as shown below.

Children walk and bicycle along the shoulders where there are 10,000 or more vehicle trips per day.
