Planning Commission Vacancy:

The City of Gold Bar is currently accepting letters of interest for a vacancy on the Planning Commission.  The Planning Commission reviews the City's land use issues and makes recommendations to the City Council.  This vacant position is a result of Commissioner Lonn Turner recently being selected to fill the Council vacancy left by Council Member Steve Higgins' resignation.  Interested applicants should direct their letters of intent to Mayor Colleen Hawkins at 107 - 5th Street, Gold Bar, 98251.  Letters should include all relevant experience which makes the applicant a viable candidate for consideration.  Any questions should be directed to City Hall at 793-1101.

Members Needed for New Parks and Recreation Committee:

Mayor Colleen Hawkins is also forming a Parks and Recreation Committee for the purpose of establishing recreation programs for adults and children of Gold Bar, as well as to move forward with the development of the City's parks property.  Interested applicants should direct their letters of interest, describing all relevant experience or interest, to Mayor Colleen Hawkins at the same address above.  Questions regarding this committee may also be directed to Gold Bar City Hall.
