CITY OF SULTAN

SULTAN WASHINGTON

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

WATER/SEWER/GARBAGE RATES AND UTILITY TAXES

                        Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on the

                        February 8, 2006 beginning at 6:00 PM in the Sultan Community

                        Center at 319 Main Street, Sultan, Washington at which time public

                        input will be taken on proposed Ordinance 908-06 Utility Tax,

                        Ordinance 910-06 Sewer Utility Tax, Ordinance 911-06 Water Utility

                        Tax and Ordinance 912-06 Garbage Utility Tax.  The purpose of the

                        ordinances are to impose a 6% utility tax on water, sewer and garbage

                        services.

                        Copies of the Ordinances are available at the office of the City Clerk,

                        City Hall, 319 Main Street, Sultan, Washington.
