“Giving Something Back”


Sultan Harvest announces the 5th Annual FREE COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER to be served at Sultan Community Center located at 319 Main Street (City Hall / Library).  Dinner will be served on Thanksgiving Day from 12:00 to 4:00 PM and is free to everyone.   “We will have crafts and games for kids again this year” said Sultan Harvest organizer Kristina Blair.

Many people are in need of a warm coat or blanket in the winter. We will be giving away donated coats, blankets, gloves, hats and teddy bears to all.  To do this Sultan Harvest Needs Your Help.  Please donate your clean used or new coats, blankets, hats, gloves and teddy bears.  Cash and food donations are also needed. Deliver items 10 AM to 5 PM to All Real Estate: 413 Main Street, or to the Visitor Center: 320 Main Street, 10 AM to 4 PM Monday thru Saturday and 12 PM to 4 PM on Sunday, after hours call (360)793-8641. 

 Volunteer opportunities are available for setup the day before, on Thanksgiving Day and the day after the event.  “This year I have decided to donate my time to a better cause than my annual Thanksgiving dinner at my home. This year I will be participating in the 5th Annual Sultan Harvest Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Thank You to Brett MacDonald for giving me this idea” said  Ann Typer, secretary for Sultan Harvest.
