The City of Sultan received a letter of congratulations from the Secretary of State, Sam Reed that the Archives Oversight Committee approved a grant in the amount of $4,190 to preserve minute books, ordinances, and resolutions that date back to 1905. “These old records will be scanned, put on CDs to be available to the public, and the original documents will then be preserved in the Washington State Archives.” Said Laura Koenig, City Clerk Treasurer.
