Photo
was taken Nov. 11, 2006. This is runoff from the Sultan Basin Road into
Wagley Creek, a Type 3 ESA-rated creek. Flow from heavy rains, removal
of SBR's northbound lane pavement, and the contractor/developer's use
of BMPs (Best Mgr. Practices) during construction, brought mud and sediment
running downhill into Wagley Creek, which was totally unprotected at
this area.

Wagley at the Dyer Road bridge, after rainfall. A health creek/stream will not display brown water. Once the creek runs "clear" again, it displays dark, heavy sediment on the creek bottom, and covers the rocks.
