Update August, 2006: During a July 2006 Sultan Council meeting, it was announced that the Basin Road would be closed "for at least two weeks") in order for the steep drop-off/curvature located at the top of the Sultan Basing Road can be "ground down" four feet to improve traffic visibility. This is necessary because of a private road within this plat -- which serves only a few homes on a dead-end street -- will be able to (arguably) safely access the Sultan Basin Road. According to statements by the City, the developer will pay for this expense (although no such agreement or document reflecting that financial commitment, exists.)
