Kay George’s public statement re “Angry Mob” at Dyer Rd. (2/13/06) Resident Mtg.:

“I’m Kay George, 1304 Skywall Drive.  And there’s a couple of issues that I wanted to bring up. Um, one is that I recently went to a meeting regarding some issues, um, primarily, I think, the new development Twin River(s) subdivision. And there was pretty much an angry mob of Dyer (Rd.) people, but, um, we on Skywall are the people that the subdivision really affects. And what we’re interested in is not chasing any and all neighbors away, but in fact we are interested in a couple things that should have been done to our community quite awhile ago.  And one is the railroad crossing that goes over. And it’s been very dangerous, an accident waiting to happen.  And we really hope that you take the funds from this and put it towards fixing that.  And I understand that is in the process, but we wanted to make sure that that did continue, in fact.  Now, we’re not an angry mob, but we hope that our voice will be heard.”
