Where in the world IS Culmback Dam, anyway? (topo) A topo Map From Sultan to Spada (three maps, in Acrobat) |
Culmback Dam is located on the southwestern end of Spada Lake, and is the source of the Sultan River. It is also the "reserve" source for Everett Water. It is a gorgeous and pristine location. If you are looking for a place of serenity and peace nearby, this is it. At the least, it's worth a Sunday drive. Just go north on Sultan Basin Road until you "run" into it. If you wish to see the actual dam, take the left-hand turn at the entrance. |
