Public Comments, Lockwood Place, confirmation of two new Planning Commission members.
Comments Made by Kenton Coy and Ed Boucher during 9-6-00 Council Mtg. These comments vilified our organization, and accused us of appropriating the name, "G.R.I.T." We later found out that the only "appropriating" being done was by Mr. Coy.

Selected Comments from Council Meeting on July 19, 2000 (Adobe Acrobat file)

Comments related to public information requests, the defnition and function of the Design Review Board and a "public meeting" and the role the Planning Commission plays in the hearing process. (You need Adobe Acrobat to read this.)

August 10th City-sponsored Meeting for landowners in the industrial area east of town There were approximately 12-13 owners at this meeting, which was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10th. Although only landowners received notice of the meeting, it was considered a "public," so we went and obtained this transcription. The concept that the city has for Sultan's future will probably scare, astound and downright confound most of the residents of sultan. We suggest that if you know people who would be interested in this, especially if they are not internet-capable, that you print it out and give it to others to read and pass along.
